Today's Gospel says, "those sown on rich soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it." This Gospel tells us our faith must have strong roots. Just going through the motions with our faith without any true understanding makes it difficult for us to remain at peace with our faith. When we are hit with hard and trying times, if our faith is not built on a solid foundation, our faith can truly be shaken. Much of our faith is in our hearts, but we need to be educated also. My prayer is for Jesus to continue to lead all of us in our faith to really know His teachings.
